In this episode, we visit our friend and founder of Metalwood Studio, Cole Young, at Metalwood's storefront and office on La Brea Ave. Metalwood Studio is not your average golf brand. It's an ode to golf in the ‘90s and some of the early 2000s. They offer a collection that includes vintage-inspired clothing, accessories and golf equipment.

~ House Made Pimento Cheese Dip served with Wonton Chips (inspired by The Masters’ Pimento Cheese Sandwich)

In this episode, we visit our friend and founder of Finery, Greg Sato, at Finery’s Downtown LA office and Greg’s home in Silverlake. Finery is a Los Angeles-based design and manufacturing studio dedicated to elevating the uniform to a craft. It was a blast getting to learn about their philosophy and their dedication to involving the Los Angeles community.

We teamed up with our friends and favorite cook book shop, Now Serving to host a pop up featuring Hetty McKinnon’s new cookbook, Tenderheart. The evening will feature a few specials from the book, interpreted by us at Woon. Plus, Hetty McKinnon will be hanging out to meet everyone and Now Serving will be selling some books!! Our good friends from Wavy Wines are back for another Woon Wine Wednesday takeover!! The evening will feature music, some fun food specials, and a wine list takeover of Wavy’s 4 wines for this year:
California Wine Cooler
Sparkling Piquette of upcycled Sangiovese, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Muscat. 10% ABV! Tangy and effervescent. Plumy, fizzy delight.
Super Californian
Your favorite chilled summer red under cork in a 750ml format. Whole cluster Sangiovese topped with the rosè of Zinfandel and Petit Sirah. Dances the line between a rosè and a red. The red wine for the white wine sippers?! Delicious and light with a touch of tannin for all.
LS Gris
9-day maceration of Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Mineral-driven, ramato-style skin contact with stone fruit and fresh melon notes. She light, she bright, she fun. Pops out of the glass!
Wavy x Bardos Collaboration
Apple and grape pet-nat elixir made with our buds at @bardoscider ! High-elevation (6000 ft) hybrid grapes from Nevada made our rosè of Frontenac which blended beautifully with *barrel-aged* Gravenstein and Jonathan apple cider from Bardos. Dry with notes of candied strawberries. Much yum!!
